Welcome to Fisheri - the app that's making waves in the fishing world! We're a team of close friends who share a passion for fishing and technology.
Our CEO and Co-Founder, Ben Jones, has been fishing since he was about 8-years old and started his working life at a local lake and tackle shop. He's an experienced Carp angler and loves spending his weekends at Manor Farm in Biggleswade. If he's not there, he's probably planning his next fishing trip abroad. We think he's secretly angling for a career as a professional angler!
But let's get back to Fisheri. It all started back in 2015 when Ben drew out a design on a napkin. As you can imagine, the journey from napkin to app wasn't all plain sailing. We've faced plenty of challenges along the way, but we're proud of what we've achieved.
Our CTO and Co-Founder, Harry Bryant, is the sole software engineer for the app. He's so good, he could probably code a fish to jump into your net! Harry is also new to fishing, but we're teaching him the ropes. Who knows, he might even beat his PB soon, which stands at about 6oz!
As a team, we've built the Fisheri app from scratch and we're always looking for ways to improve the app, so if you have any feedback, we'd love to hear it. We even enjoy meeting our users in person (don't worry, we won't steal your fishing spot!)
We're thrilled to have Alice Webb as our Brand Ambassador. You'll see her a lot around here. She's an experienced Carp Angler and has a growing social media following on Instagram where she shares her journey of learning, one carp at a time. Looking ahead, we have big plans for Fisheri. We want to build a community of passionate anglers and help people explore new lakes and tackle shops. And we're not just about catching fish - we care about sustainability too. We believe that by sharing knowledge and experiences, we can all contribute to preserving our waterways and fish stocks for generations to come.
So, that's us in a nutshell. We're a close-knit team who love fishing and technology. We're proud of what we've achieved with Fisheri so far, and we can't wait to see what the future holds. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a newbie, we hope you'll join us on our journey. Tight lines!
